Thunder Altar You all feel the electricity in the air as you approach the altar, a statue of the Great Bird crackling with lightning energy. It embodies the thunderous nature of the Great Bird, symbolizing both the promise of a good rain and the wild, uncontrollable fury of thunder. Most followers of the Great Bird find this aspect of their deity the hardest to honor, as its ever-changing mood makes the ritual unpredictable. Yet, just as thunder always finds its path, the rituals always reach the Great Bird. The altar is guarded, and to proceed, you must show your respect to the Great Bird. How will you show your devotion to the Great Bird?

[Tulah]: Trust me, just stand by my side and do nothing.
🧍 Tulah only
Tulah shares her knowledge of the ritual with you, and although her advice seems strange, you decide to follow her instructions. As you approach the statue, she begins preaching to the Great Bird, preventing you from getting any closer to the altar. You stop and listen to her speech. Her words seem sufficient to grant you all the Great Bird's tolerance, and the guards, who must think so as well, allow you to continue your pilgrimage.
[Party Members]: I will offer my weapon to the Great Bird!
A hero's weapon is offered and destroyed; in return the guards give you shards and let you continue the pilgrimage.notawiki summary
