Charges
Open on wiki ↗glossary Glossary
Most status effects are measured in charges — their stack count. An effect applies its listed value "per charge" (3 charges of Poison deals 3), and usually removes one charge each turn, so more charges means a stronger, longer-lasting effect. Applying the same status again adds charges. A few statuses (like Block) instead clear all of their charges at the end of the round. Cards that raise "aura charges" or "curse charges" add charges to your buffs or to the debuffs you inflict.
