Class MageRole Mind / Shadow Echo mage

Not unlocked by default — recruit her through an in-game quest.

Take the Green Portal to The Aquarfall Marsh at the end of Act I or II.
Travel to Temple Border and choose [Combat] to help the shadowy figure. You obtain the Whispering Orb.
Choose The Void as your destination at the end of Act III.
Go to the Plaza and choose [Enter], using the Whispering Orb — this opens the Withered Vale.
Fight through the dungeon to the Withered Soul and defeat the boss. Althea unlocks in the aftermath of the combat.

Passive · Echo Magic — when you play an Echo Spell, gain 1 Resonance (scales your repeat/Echo effects).

Chain Echo + Resonance spells for repeating Mind and Shadow damage that ramps within a fight.

Gustav — Gustav can convert his damage to Mind and make Mind scale with Sharp; his Sharp/Insanity support stacks onto Althea's Resonance-fueled Mind (Echo) damage build. [14][15]
